A late 18th-century French provincial fruitwood table.
Featuring a removable square top which demonstrates two hand forged hinges to the underside.
The table top folds out to form a double sized rectangular shaped top when needed - making for an ideal table in a space-sensitive room while also enabling you to have a larger surface when needed.
Raised on chamfered legs united by a pinned stretcher demonstrating simple lined inlaid decoration.
The top when folded measures 95 x 95 cm,
and when open 95 x 190 cm.
